Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is designed to increase the depth and breadth of knowledge for certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) preparing for additional knowledge and certification. The topics covered in the course include: medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, respiratory system, cardiovascular system, nervous system, pharmacology, trauma, electrophysiology and the pathophysiology of shock. Case studies and patient simulations will be utilized to reinforce student objectives.
