- NURS 040L focuses on nursing skills and clinical experiences aligned with concepts of Culture of Health 6. Clinical learning focuses on integration and application of medical-surgical concepts of trauma and complex care while providing patient-centered care in acute healthcare and community settings. Application of the nursing process and evidence-based care are emphasized.
