    COMP 004 is an introductory database design and administration course that teaches students how to create, use, and maintain databases. Students will learn how to store, retrieve, and manipulate data using relational table structures. Students will also be introduced to basic data/entity modeling concepts and Structured Query Language (SQL) programming. This course requires basic computer knowledge. Familiarity with basic programming concepts is recommended but not required.
