Transfers ToCSUDescriptionCOMP001B provides a more in-depth examination of the CSS language and helps students develop the skills to create a consistent look and feel throughout a website. This course builds upon the knowledge and experience students have gained from completing COMP001A and is targeted towards those who have a solid foundational understanding of HTML and CSS and want to further their understanding of frontend web design concepts. Students should be familiar with web browsers, the DOM, HTML and CSS syntax, basic text editors, and version control software. Students will learn about the CSS box model (display and positioning), the importance and meaning of color on the web (branding, style guides, color associations), basic web typography, proper page layout techniques (grids), and how to leverage third-party resources for rapid development.Usually HeldMon 6:00pm–8:50pm
