    Description
HIST 032 will examine the social, political, and economic experiences of Mexicans living in the United States beginning with their Pre-Columbian heritage through the Spanish colonial era, the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, the Great Depression, World War II, and the Civil Rights Movement. Emphasis will be on how these experiences have helped to shape the culture of Chicanos in the modern era.
