    Description
    This course will explore the principles involved in the analyzing of dramatic scripts, their form and structure, using Aristotelean analysis and other historical and scholarly critical traditions. Key concepts such as studying a playwright's intentions, methods and meanings will be covered. Students will apply these principles to diverse and representative examples from dramatic literature, and how these principles impact a production and performance. C-ID THTR 114.
