- This course will provide students with comprehensive hands-on venipuncture experience. Students will practice patient identification, venipuncture, specimen collection and handling, standard precautions, laboratory safety, and basic medical terminology. Concepts of diversity and culturally competent care for individuals from culture groups within the United States are integrated.
