Use of triads in all positions, principles of voice leading, harmonic progression, form at the phrase structure and cadence level, non harmonic tones, and melodic construction; introduction to non-dominant 7th chords, two part counterpoint and modulation. Emphasis on written and aural analysis, and creative application of concepts in a technology supported interactive classroom/lab environment.
