    Description
    A review of the core prerequisite skills, competencies, and concepts needed in Preparation for Calculus. Intended for students who are concurrently enrolled in Math 109, Preparation for Calculus. Topics include a review of basic algebra and skills related to the following topics: the use of properties of exponents, logarithms, radicals, and rational expressions to simplify algebraic expressions; the concept of slope as it relates to linear equations and real-world situation; solving, graphing, and analyzing polynomial, rational, radical, logarithmic, exponential; trigonometric equations and functions; and solving systems of equations and inequalities. The course also covers principles of trigonometry and trigonometric identities, Additionally, students will explore conic sections and apply the fundamental concepts of sequences and series.
