    Description
    This is the lecture portion of the thirty-hour refresher course required for renewing the EMT-Basic certificate. It must be taken with the lab course EMS 61B for a new certificate of completion to be awarded. The Inland County Emergency Medical Agency approves this course and adheres to the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 9, Chapter 4. This course will also incorporate equity-minded instruction, active-learning strategies, and personalized learning approaches to engage diverse learners, promote inclusive clinical decision-making, and support mastery of basic concepts in emergency medical services.
