    Explore and learn basic economic theories and models and apply them to analyze contemporary economic issues. Topics include the U.S. economic issues including minority and ethnic concerns and international economic issues, e.g. wealth and income distribution, sustainable economic growth, health care reform, unemployment, environmental issues, regulation, deregulation, inflation, interest rates, discrimination, corporations and labor unions and contemporary labor issues. .
