    Description
This course will prepare students for a career in the Residential Solar Industry. Students will explore photovoltaic energy and systems, and the methods used to install residential systems. System components, building code requirements, system sizing and design, energy storage, and solar energy principles will be examined extensively. During lab hours, students will conduct experiments that demonstrate the principles of photovoltaic and electrical systems. Students will design, safely install, and trouble-shoot systems on actual buildings and ground mounts.
