Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course will focus on children's acquisition of science and math concepts with an emphasis on the California Preschool Learning Foundations, California Content Standards, the National Council of Teachers Mathematic Standards and National Science Education Standards. Students will be introduced to developmentally appropriate activities and practices. This course will also focus on the teacher's role in establishing an environment rich in opportunities for a child's self-directed learning.
