    Description
    Students explore ecological principles through integrated field and laboratory investigations, analyzing population dynamics, community interactions, and ecosystem processes. Emphasis on applying ecological concepts to environmental challenges in the High Desert region and surrounding ecosystems. Students develop skills in field sampling techniques, data collection and analysis, and scientific communication through collaborative research projects. Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory. Designed for biological science majors; open to all students. .
