The course includes cognitive content associated with: preparatory, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, airway management, patient assessment, trauma patient management, medical emergencies, special patient populations, and EMS operations. The course provides psychomotor skills training associated with: preparatory, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, airway management, patient assessment, trauma patient management, medical patient management, cardiac patient management, special populations, EMS operations, and simulated patient encounters.
