Students will ask questions, weigh evidence, and draw valid conclusions from various kinds of sources. Focus will be on sentential/deductive logic (syllogisms, truth tables, etc.) techniques. Some time will be spent on informal/inductive logic (generalizations, analogies, and common fallacious reasoning) techniques.
