Students will expand vocabulary and mastery of grammatical concepts as they acquire greater listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Italian. Special emphasis will be given to the development of oral and aural skills through the use of communicative activities. Students will use more complex grammatical constructions and a wider range of idiomatic expressions. Further study of Italian history, culture, and current events will be included in order to develop comprehension and speaking skills.
