This course is approved by the California Emergency Medical Services Authority and Local Emergency Medical Services Agency. Upon successful completion of both the written and practical examinations, the student will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certifying examination. This course fulfills the health education requirement for an associates degree.
