    Description
    This introductory course on digital forensics provides students with core knowledge and practical skills to properly conduct a computer forensics investigation. It covers topics including an overview of computer forensics, the computer investigation process, understanding operating systems boot processes and disk structures, data acquisition and analysis, technical writing, and a review of familiar computer forensics tools. This course is aligned with the objectives of the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) certification. It is also in compliance with the ACM curriculum on digital forensics.
