Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis basic personal and vocational finance course is designed for the student with developmental disabilities, autism, and/or significant cognitive deficits who is preparing for independent living and vocational training. Topics related to consumer finance will include basic mathematics, currency, budgeting, responsible spending and saving, shopping, banking, insurance, taxes, and consumer loans. In addition, students will review the financial and personal skills necessary in the workplace, such as the ability to access workplace software and technology, customer service, and appropriate workplace behavior.
