Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course provides training in personal, social, and job skills for students who have intellectual disabilities, autism, and/or significant cognitive deficits. Through role-playing and class discussion, students will develop the skills necessary for responsible independence and enhanced quality of life and improving soft skills. Topics will include developing healthy relationships, values and decision making, sexuality, health, and personal protection and safety. In addition, students will be introduced to the interpersonal skills necessary in a job setting.
