    Description
This open entry/open exit disability services course prepares professionals to work with people served by California’s Regional Center System who want to create person-centered plans to direct their own lives. Person-centered planners are professionals who assist people and create plans to direct all areas of life. This course expands upon the orientation information required by the Department of Developmental Services and the Self Determination Law to enter the Self Determination Program (SDP) in California. Students may enroll at different times and complete at various times or at varying paces within a defined period, such as a semester.
