    Introduces basic principles of theatre and film design, including scenery, lighting, sound, costumes, makeup, and properties. Covers topics such as script analysis and design choices, period research, staging configurations, and the elements of design. Includes analysis of live and filmed productions, practical experience in utilizing equipment and basic production techniques, and creating a design project from concept to completed presentation.
