    Introduces students to the theory and practical application of case management skills and techniques in alcohol and other drug counseling. Emphasizes on preparing students to work effectively in substance use treatment. Includes topics such as clinical evaluation, treatment planning, referral, service coordination, counseling, client and community education, documentation, and professional and ethical responsibilities for alcohol and other drug counselors.
