    No Credit. Lecture 8 hours, laboratory 8 hours. Promotes excellence in trauma care through NAEMT's Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) education. Stresses multisystem trauma management and encourages critical thinking. Covers key physiology, assessment, hemorrhage control, airway and ventilation, shock, and special populations.
