- Introduces the fundamental principles for creating and maintaining an Electronic Health Record (EHR). Reviews the history of the EHR and current trends in health care information applications such as clinical information systems, administrative information systems, and management support systems. Explores the transition from a paper-based health record to an EHR. [D]
