    Examines the evolution of Mexican/Mexican-American cultural development in the United States. Focuses on the study of the transculturation process between Mexican-American and mainstream cultures. Includes a special emphasis on the intellectual foundations of Chicano cultural aspects, analysis and production of scholar activism, and societal development with implications for the field.
