- Focuses on basic beginning interpersonal communication. Covers structures and vocabulary necessary to talk about family, friends, activities, obligations, travel, and food. Introduces students to Italian culture. Designed for students with very little or no knowledge of Italian. Equivalent to two years of high school Italian. [D; CSU; UC]
