    Provides intermediate-level instruction in the operation and maintenance of fire service equipment according to the State Fire Training (SFT) Firefighter I Skills Exam. Includes topics such as extinguishers and protective equipment; hose, nozzles, and fittings; hose evolution; fire service ladders; and salvage and overhaul procedures. Designed at an intermediate level within the guidelines of training for Firefighter I Certification as specified by California Fire Service Training and Education Division of the Office of the state Fire Marshal.
