    Description
    Provides instruction in reading, writing, and grammar at an intermediate-low level of English. Focuses on writing paragraphs. Emphasizes reading fiction and nonfiction. Expands on verb tenses, sentence structure, gerunds and infinitives, and academic vocabulary. Includes listening and speaking for interacting with class topics. Second of four semesters of academic ESL. [ND]
