    Description
    Introduces more advanced surveying techniques. Includes topics of topographic survey, geodesy, contour mapping, earthmoving quantity take-off, horizontal and vertical curves, construction staking, real property survey using electronic data measurement (EDM), application of global positioning system (GPS) and geographic information systems (GIS), and green surveys including the usage and practical applications of unmanned aerial systems (UAS's). Engages students in field exercises to learn to process and interpret survey data using industry-standard software. [D; CSU]
