- Presents effective strategies for adapting curriculum and/or the environments for childcare providers caring for children with special needs. Identifies what is developmentally appropriate for children with special needs, how and when to modify activities or equipment, how to manage challenging behaviors, and how to support families in meeting the needs of these children.
