The type(s) of production can be: Comedy, Drama, Classical and Musical. Students will gain practical experience in the application of production responsibilities in any of the following: Set construction, scenic painting, properties, costume, lighting, sound, live show running crews, stage management and house management. Students are given an increasing level of responsibility in accordance with their individual abilities. Repeatable 2 times. THEA 055 Advanced Theatre Touring Company 1.0 Unit Students will prepare and rehearse performances to tour throughout Solano County. Discussions will be had on issues of racism, sexism, representation, and the power structures that exist in the present and past of theatre and film, and how to help effect change in our own little part of the world. Travel is required to various Solano County schools and venues for performances. THEA 148A 1.0 Unit Special Topics in Theatre: For Actors THEA 024 and THEA 027 Advanced specialized theatre studies to allow students to better understand their future choices in theatre specializations and to add training to their theatre resume. May involve participation with the current SCC productions.
