    Description
    Introduction to the backstage aspects of live theatre and the creation of technical elements. Includes basic concepts of scene design, scene painting techniques, set construction, set movement, prop construction, backstage organization and career possibilities. May include stage management, lighting, and/or sound techniques. Lecture, reading, projects, and hands on practical experience. Students will participate in the planning, design, set construction, and painting of a main college theatrical event as determined by the instructor. Repeatable 1 time.
