- Bilingual individuals will further develop their knowledge and skills for effective language interpretation in healthcare settings. The course will focus on the roles, ethical responsibilities, and protocols that healthcare interpreters must assume, and it will provide basic dual- language knowledge of common medical conditions, treatments, and procedures. Students will continue to explore cultural and linguistic nuances that affect communication exchanges.
