The course explores the cultural diversity of the Spanish-speaking world and promotes growth in cultural responsiveness while encouraging intermediate-level linguistic proficiency. This course is taught in Spanish. The Spanish (Castilian) language has been a key instrument of imperialism. We will explore accompanying issues of power as they relate to race, ethnicity, class, gender, and language. This course will be taught in Spanish. SPAN - Spanish
