Transfers ToCSUDescriptionAn introduction to the basic statistical methods and analyses commonly used in behavioral and sociological research. Topics include: descriptive and inferential statistics usually include levels and types of measurement; measures of central tendency and dispersion; normal, t, and chi-square distributions; probability and hypothesis testing; correlation and regression. Applications of statistical software to behavioral and sociology and/or other social science data required. Students will describe the importance of data integrity as it relates to equality, justice, and inclusion.
