Transfers ToCSUDescriptionIntroduction to digital filmmaking as an artistic medium through lecture, demonstration, screenings, and hands- on practice. Students will develop skills in pre-production planning, cinematography, sound recording, art direction, post- production, and critical analysis through the creation of their own film projects. Discussions and screenings will cover historic and contemporary filmmakers and their work, with an emphasis on diversity, and an exploration of issues of equity and ethics in the film industry. Digital video camera. The department has a limited number of cameras to loan for those that cannot provide their own. Online and hybrid classes require access to a computer that can run Adobe Creative Cloud programs.
