The Certificate of Achievement can be obtained upon completion of the 24-unit major. The Associate in Arts Degree can be obtained by completing the 24-unit major, General Education, and electives as needed to complete a minimum of 60 units. All courses for this major must be completed with a minimum grade of C or a P if the course is taken on a Pass/No Pass basis. Program Outcomes Students who complete the Photography, Professional Certificate of Achievement/Associate Degree will be able to: 1. Demonstrate full knowledge of the technical aspects of photography, including camera operations, exposure, lighting, and post-production, including software applications and printing. 2. Integrate conceptual elements with aesthetic and technical skills to create cohesive and memorable photographs. 3. Conceive and produce a coherent portfolio of original work that meets department and professional industry standards. 4.
