    Applies the concepts of nursing practice previously introduced focusing on additional concepts for safe, humanistic, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population focusing on wellness for a pediatric patient. NURS 074B also applies nursing concepts to the care of children in a variety of clinical settings. Internet and PC computer access with chrome web browser required in order to utilizes online NCLEX test preparation software, skills videos and to complete course materials utilizing word, excel and PDF documents. NURS 074S 1.0 Unit Nursing Simulation and Skills Lab IV Corequistie: NURS 074A and NURS 074B Builds on the content presented in NURS 071S-Nursing Skills Lab I, NURS 072S-Nursing Skills Lab II, and NURS 073S-Nursing Skills Lab III with a focus on developmentally and culturally appropriate therapeutic interventions in the care of patients with acute and chronic complex conditions requiring medical/surgical interventions and the care of children. Includes application of the concepts of caring, critical thinking, the nursing process, quality improvement, communication, teamwork/collaboration, and evidence- based nursing practice. Application of knowledge and skills occurs in the nursing skills lab and the simulation lab. Internet and PC computer access with chrome web browser required in order to utilizes online NCLEX test preparation software, skills videos and to complete course materials utilizing word, excel and PDF documents.
