    measures assessment process and completion of a course taught at or above the level of intermediate algebra. General Education: SCC: Area 2; Cal-GETC: Area 2 This course is designed for students with majors that do not require college level statistics. It is an introduction to the diversity of mathematics through the examination of ideas not covered in traditional math classes such as logic, sets, numeration systems, and other topics from contemporary mathematics.
