General Education: SCC: Area 2; Cal-GETC: Area 2 002 and MATH 004 A comprehensive study of mathematics, essentially comprising the content of college algebra (Math 002) and trigonometry (Math 051), that is prerequisite to the calculus sequence. Topics included are: the study of polynomial, absolute value, radical, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions, analytic geometry, and polar coordinates, the study of trigonometric functions, their inverses and their graphs, identities and proofs related to trigonometric expressions, trigonometric equations, solving right triangles, solving triangles using the Law of Cosines and the Law of Sines, and introduction to vectors.Usually HeldMon Wed Fri 8:30am–10:20am
