    General Education: SCC: Local District Requirement - Health, Lifelong Learning, and Self Development Psychological theories, concepts, strategies and skills designed to help individuals overcome the barriers to optimal athletic performance, exercise performance and general health performance. Mental skills such as imagery, goal setting, cognitive restructuring, attentional focusing, arousal regulation, and coping will be presented. With this course students establish a goal(s) and work toward it while aiming to cultivate the ideal mental state that fosters optimal performance.
