Students will learn basic horticultural skills in a garden, nursery, greenhouse, and landscape setting. Students will develop an understanding of the cultural requirements of plants and how to care for them. Appropriate workplace skills will be emphasized, safety training and proper tool usage will be incorporated throughout the course.
