- General Education: SCC: Area 3; Cal-GETC: Area 3B An introduction to Shakespearean drama and poetry through a study of representative comedies, histories, tragedies, and sonnets. Students will be concerned with dramatic and poetic principles as well as with an understanding of the historical context into which Shakespearean drama fits.
