Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course provides practical and theoretical training towards state mandated minimum hours designed to prepare students for the California State Board of Cosmetology licensing examination in Nail Technology. A combination of lecture and laboratory activities introduces students to the concepts, principles, and industry practices associated with the manicure, pedicure, and nail technology industry. Students will learn and perform a range of creative and technical applications, including manicures, pedicures, nail wraps, UV and LED gels, nail enhancement and artistry, client health and safety considerations, and applicable laws and regulations.
