    Description
    Multiple Measures Evaulation General Education: SCC: Area 5; Cal-GETC: Area 5A, 5C An emphasis on the chemistry of inorganic compounds and covers selected topics such as atomic theory, bonding, equations, gas laws, solutions, acid-base theory, and oxidation-reduction. The course is intended as preparation for pathways in chemistry, allied health, and general education. Field trip may be required. Online homework may be required. NOTE: Not open for credit to students who have completed CHEM 001. for current designation or consult with your counselor C, or a P if taken on a Pass/No Pass basis, unless otherwise noted CHEM - Chemistry CHEM 030L Chemistry and Society Laboratory 1.0 Unit General Education: Cal-GETC: Area 5C Chemistry laboratory course for non-science majors. The experiments will help students understand and apply chemistry principles in our world and may involve the environment, nutrition, health, fitness, and medicine. 030. Field trips may be required.
