Transfers ToCSUDescriptionAn exploration of language, literacy, music, and movement in early childhood education. Emphasis is placed on understanding and creating developmentally appropriate and culturally inclusive classroom experiences that promote emergent literacy and musical expression. Students will evaluate materials for quality and engage in teaching practices that promote children's holistic learning such as singing, instrument use, movement activities, teacher-child interaction, storytelling, puppetry, and dramatic play.
