    Description
    General Education: Cal-GETC: Area 5B, 5C The study of the structure, morphology, physiology, genetics, diversity, evolution, and ecology of microorganisms. The course also includes principles of immunology, the control of microbes, and their relationship to disease control and prevention. Laboratory exercises cover microscopy, staining, aseptic techniques, identification, and microbial growth.
