    General Education: SCC: Area 5; Cal-GETC: Area 5A 030 and ASTR 040 This course will provide students with an introduction to the study of stars, galaxies, the universe, and the physics related to these topics. The syllabus includes insight into the Sun, stellar lifetimes, supernovae, black holes, and the cosmos. Field trip may be required.
